Job Description
We’re looking for an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Medical Billing Specialist to join our team. This role is focused on supporting the billing and claims process for behavioral health services, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reimbursement. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, comfortable working with insurance providers and clearinghouse platforms, and able to follow up on claims with persistence and professionalism.

ABA Experience Required

Salary: Pay will depend on experience, skills, and/or qualifications.
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
- Medical Billing certificate from an authorized program
Experience:
- Billing: 1 year (Required)
- Experience with ABA Billing (Required)
- Strong knowledge of Tricare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance guidelines, procedures, rules and regulations. (Required)
- Experience with escalating billing disputes, including appeals, reviews, and redeterminations
- Demonstrated organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (a team player)
- Normal office/clerical motor skills in addition to extensive computer and telephone experience
